Containers may only be placed out for collection no more than twenty-four (24) hours BEFORE scheduled pick-up and no more than twelve (12) hours AFTER pick-up.
Please do not overfill your container! The lid on the container should be closed. Please use bags inside of the container. Loose garbage may blow around and cause a mess in your neighborhood.
Place your container in front of your property, either in the driveway or on the parking, unless you receive a letter from the City of Perry stating that it should be placed in a different location. DO NOT place the cart in the street. Place the cart with the handle facing your home and the metal bar facing the street.
The container must have a 4-foot clearance around it to be picked up in a safe and proper manner. DO NOT PLACE THE CONTAINER NEAR MAILBOXES, PARKED CARS, UTILITY POLES, TREES/BRUSH OR OTHER ITEMS THAT PREVENT CLEAR ACCESS TO THE CONTAINER.
