The Perry Fire department began its service to the citizens of Perry in 1878. With a current roster of 26 men and women, that dedication to service is alive and well. The Perry Fire Department specializes in fire suppression and prevention as well as a hazardous materials operations team, confined space rescue team, EMS squad and automobile extrication specialists. This Fire Department is equipped with a 75’ ladder quint, three pumper trucks, a heavy rescue unit, and first responder unit.
