Housing & Development Manager
The City of Perry is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Housing and Development Manager. The Housing and Development Director reports to City Administrator and collaborates the Building Official and Compliance Officer. Primary Responsibility:
This is an entry level position that serves as the key staff person for the Community & Economic Development Department. Accordingly, the position manages and coordinates the operations and activities of the department, which includes:
• Management of development processes within the City.
• Research and recommendations for housing programs.
• Tracking and implementation oversight of the City’s Comprehensive Plan
• Oversight and enforcement of the City’s subdivision, zoning, building and other land use and development codes.
• Enforcement of the City’s property maintenance codes
• Oversight of permitting for residential, commercial and other types of construction
• Act as the Planning and Zoning Administrator
Base pay range: $55,000-$65,000, depending on qualifications.
