While it is recommended to practice preventative actions such as social distancing, the Perry Chamber of Commerce suggests the consideration of creative ways to still shop and support local businesses during this time of disruption:
- Call ahead to check availability of hours and services, such as pre-ordering, curbside pick-up, delivery, and/or shipping to minimize in-person interactions.
- Order take-out from your favorite restaurants.
- Check to see if purchasing online is an option at your favorite retailers – if it isn’t, they may still be able to take an order over the phone… just ask!
- Buy a gift card or gift certificate to provide income to businesses now and for you to use later.
