15 years as Service Manager of Burk Ford Sales, Perry, 15 years as Manager of Bruce Throughbred Farms, Perry, and 15 years as the Horsemen's Liaison at Prairie Meadows Racetrack & Casino, Altoona, IA.  Katie and I also have 5 rental properties in Perry which we maintain and manage ourselves for the past 30 years.

Family: 
Wife- Katie - we have been married 45 years, 1 son Timothy and 1 daughter Ann -- both are married and living in Des Moines.

Hobbies/Civic Organizations/Other Board Positions: 
I'm the past president of the Iowa Service Managers Club ( 4 years), the Iowa Thoroughbred Breeders and Owners Association ( 12 years ), Regional United States Director for the Racetrack Chaplaincy Program of America ( 10 years ) Member of the racing committee for the American Quarter Horse Association for 10 years, musician and song leader for St. Patrick's Church in Perry, and enjoy boating at Saylorville Lake and Lake Panorama.
