The City of Perry, a vibrant, growing community in central Iowa, is seeking an individual to serve in the Maintenance PT role.
Position Description:
The City of Perry Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a highly motivated, team oriented individual to assist in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and welcoming appearance of city facilities. This role involves performing various custodial duties and assisting with minor maintenance tasks as needed. Must have effective oral and written communication skills. The duties performed at the position include building maintenance and janitorial work. This position will work Tuesday - Saturday evenings from 6pm-11pm.
A high school diploma or GED, valid drivers license are required. Applicants must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
Basic knowledge of cleaning and maintenance preferred.
