The City of Perry, a vibrant, growing community in central Iowa, is seeking an individual to serve in the Maintenance II role.
Position Description:
The City of Perry Parks and Recreation Department is seeking a highly motivated, team oriented individual to assist in organizing and implementing a wide variety of maintenance projects. Must have effective oral and written communication skills. The duties performed at the position include light HVAC work, Carpentry, building and grounds maintenance, and janitorial work. Other duties within the Parks and Recreation Department may be assigned.
A high school diploma or GED, valid drivers license are required. Applicants must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, power tools, and basic carpentry and preferred.
Pay: $20.12 per hour, Part-Time
