This program is designed to help participants keep those New Year’s resolutions. Earn points by exercising and eating well. Earn 20 points by registering by January 9th at 8pm. Rack up points win cool prizes! If you accumulate 300 fitness points, you will win a sweatshirt. 500 points enters you into a drawing for various gift cards. This program is for those ages 18 and above. It begins January 13th and lasts until March 14th with a registration deadline of January 17th at 6pm. Guess what! You know those spinning bikes you see when you come to the McCreary Building? We are now doing a spinning class! Our fitness instructor Mary Laborde will be teaching these classes. There multiple ways to spin. You can sign up for our monthly classes on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, come to our weekly Saturday morning class, or join our “Intro to Spin” class taught by Augie Hohl on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6pm-7pm.
Dance your way into shape! This fun, aerobics class promotes fitness through dancing and movement. This cardio class gets your heart rate up and your body moving! No dance experience necessary. Join us on Monday and Wednesday evenings for this fun class.
Pilates blends body awareness, breathing, and elongation of the spine with strengthening of core muscles. Enjoy our aerobics room that includes a padded floor, fitness balls and BOSU balls. Class members will also be able to take a body mass index test. There are two class times available. They are both three-week programs and class size is limited, so sign up today. Classes are instructed by veteran licensed instructors.
Choose from three water aerobic classes all year around. They are of varied intensity. Thise exercises improve flexibility, strength and coordination. Contact the McCreary Center at 465-5621 for more information.
