The Perry Area Chamber of Commerce supports a variety of community events throughout the year to serve all our chamber members and the greater Perry community.  Your past sponsorship of BRR, Educator Appreciation Reception, Friday Fests, July 4^th Celebration, Election Day Chili Feed and the Lighted Christmas Parade plus other membership focused programs has made all of this possible.

Summer is almost here and we are excited to offer excellant marketing opportunities for this year’s summer programs. Friday Fest and the new Frog Creek Freedom Festival July 3rd & 4th.  Both events offer tremendous opportunities for media and community exposure for your business and products.

Friday Fest continues the summer tradition of Friday evening community events. This year the newly reinvigorated Perry Cultural District presents a series of public summer concerts scheduled for: Friday June 25^th, David Zollo will headline with his fusion of blues, jazz and rock music. Friday July 23^rd Jason Brown brings his own brand of country music to the park.  Friday Aug 20^th Crooked Mile from Des Moines performs Americana music and offbeat covers under the lights. All concerts are held in Pattee Park with opening acts beginning at  6:30PM. The Hotel Pattee Ballroom is an alternate location in the event of rain.

Frog Creek Freedom Festival – is Perry’s July 4^th celebration in Pattee Park. Featuring a “real” carnival, parade on Sunday July 4^th, volleyball tournament, kids area, fire department water fights, lots of entertainment both days plus the Sunday night fireworks.
